TOKYO – April 2, 2025 – Trinasolar’s International Systems Business Unit (“Trinasolar ISBU”) Japan, the utility-scale solar and battery storage development arm of Trinasolar Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce the signing of a 20-year renewable energy Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Equinix (Nasdaq: EQIX), a global leading data center provider. This milestone agreement will supply 36 GWh of renewable electricity annually from the Yufutsu Abira Solar Project (30 MW) in Hokkaido, starting in 2028.
